GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Please see our Leadership Quarterly article for details. You can choose which report RTI generates based on whether you are an author or a reviewer/editor. RTI generates a transparency index score and developmental feedback on how transparency could be improved (including highly transparent articles you can consult to improve the transparency of your manuscript).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAC VERSION: Download and unzip the zipped file before proceeding. Then, launch the program by clicking on the executable file "RTI v1.0 MAC." If you encounter issues opening the program, try right-clicking or pressing “control” and clicking on the "RTI v1.0 MAC.app" program simultaneously. Then click "open". Loading may take longer if this is your first time opening the program. If it does not respond after 15 to 30 seconds, you can try clicking on the program icon again (this is because the program needs some time to run in the background during the first launch).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR WINDOWS VERSION: Download and unzip the zipped file before proceeding. Please make sure to run "RTI v1.0 WIN.exe" from the unzipped file you downloaded and do not drag "RTI v.1.0 WIN.exe" out of the folder). If you encounter a firewall issue and cannot open the program, please go to “Settings" and search for “Firewall," then select "Allow an app through Windows Firewall" and add "RTI v.1.0 WIN.exe" to the list of allowed apps. Also, if you encounter a (blue) screen with "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.
