INSTRUCTIONS: First, enter the number of sub-groups (i.g., moderator-based categories). Then, for each sub-group, enter its standard deviation for the criterion Y, sample size, standard deviation for the predictor X, and correlation between X and Y. Then, click on "Calculate" to obtain the effect size for the categorical moderator variable (i.e., interaction effect between a continous and a categorical varible).
